Poppy Seed Pecan Muffins
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 tsp grated orange peel
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream

1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup white flour
2-1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
4 Tbls poppy seeds |

| Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat the sugar and butter together. Add the
orange peel, eggs, and sour cream. Stir in all dry ingredients; mix well. Pour the batter
into muffin tins lined with cupcake papers. Bake for 20 minutes or until spongy on top. Makes
24 muffins.
