The Ashlock Prune is the finest prune available, sometimes known as a French Plum. The Ashlock Prune is pitted carefully so the whole prune fruit stays intact. Then steam is added to give this prune its characteristic softness. We never carry the harder and drier Elliott Prune because it lacks the natural prune sugar goodness and wonderful sweet flavor we get from the Ashlock Pitted Prune.
