This is a real specialty product, used often as an ingredient that provides distinctive almond flavor. For example, a coffee company may use it to add nutty flavor in grinding coffees. The white color contrasts with the coffee dark bean for appearance and taste. When we make this product the almond skin is removed (called blanching) and the almond is sliced like a shoestring potato.
