This is what's inside the "ballpark peanut", which is roasted in the shell and cracked open to nibble during a ball game. Redskin peanuts are bigger than their cousin, the Spanish peanut.

Love those freshly roasted peanuts! January 30, 2013

My husband and I snack on freshly roasted redskin peanuts all the time - delicious.  The plastic bag of my most recent order was not "twist tied".  The bag was open and the twist tie was at the bottom of the box.  No nuts had spilled out but I was concerned about freshness.
