The Metal Box Company went out of business in about 1982. They were one of the finest manufacturers of decorative metal boxes in the world.

When they are gone, there will not be any more available.
We have a wide variety of decorative lithographed tins that we offer for sale.. Most of them are out of production and many of the plants that made them in the 1980's and 1990's are out of business. Over the past 35 years we have produced and also bought a large collection of many decorative tins.
In most instances they are "collectable" and prized for their beauty.
