Barclay's Dress Company Tin
A terrific old fashioned tin showing a very popular clothing company from the East cost. This is a wonderfully shaped tin that has a hinged cover. Hinged covers are harder to obtain becasue they require hand labor to make the hinge. The tin dimensions are 5 3/4" long X 4" wide X 5 1/2" deep.

Barringer Tin
This was a very popular food tin patterned after the Barringer Mustard line of fine food products. produced in England in the 1970's, this tin is out of production and the plant that made this tin has also gone out of business. The deep black tin with a lovely scarlet lettering is very dramatic and a wonderful addition to any collection. The tin dimensions are 4 3/4" long X 3 1/4" wide X 5" deep.

Use properly sealed plastic bags or glass jars. Store at 70 degrees or lower. You can store at 32 to 35 degrees in refrigerator for up to 18 months, if sealed well.

Our Very Favorite Recipes

Curry Almond Spread

a wonderful dip recipe

16 oz. cream cheese
2 tsp. curry
1 cup chutney
1/2 tsp. mustard
3/4 cups sliced almonds
1 or 2 green onions

Combine the cream cheese, 1/2 cup chutney, curry and mustard.

Place in a bowl lined with plastic and refridgerate.   When ready to serve, turn onto a platter, top with the remaining chutney, slivered almonds, and sliced green onions.   Serve with crackers.
